Creating 'The Snug'

 The original part of the house is L shaped. So we decided to wall off part of it and create a second TV viewing/yoga/reading area that we are calling 'The Snug'. 

Original room 

We added a wall with pocket doors to get some privacy but still let the light through, changed out the grey carpet for light wood flooring and went for Summer Suede on the walls instead of grey. I think it's a bit warmer, don't you??
